“Use It” is a new track from Montreal/Calgary’s Knots. The song is intricately quiet: silken guitars and soft delivery. An initial sense emerges of the genius introvert who spends a shy life learning from books. But, there is a dynamic to the vocal delivery that raises it from meditation to proclamation — it necessarily asserts itself, displays well-deserved confidence. This is a great track and heralds another outstanding collection. Look for a six-song cassette on September 1, courtesy of the illustrious Bart Records. Knots plays Edmonton on September 1st with Jom Comyn and Emily Baschynski at Elevation Room. Don’t miss it! More info here.
