It is no sin to wear your influences on your sleeve. So with that said, I strongly recommend Prince Edward Island’s Boxer the Horse to fans of Brighten the Corners era Pavement. French Residency is a straight up banging indie rock record, front to back. Not a single sleeper on this fine album. Give’em a listen and cop it if you dig.
